Chain Writing Game: Week 6 Episode 8

Jadir knew that he was done for, with a Cave Bear and a Terror Bird breathing down his neck there was no chance of escape. Except that as soon as the two creatures saw each other, they went for the other’s throat instead of his.

Jadir looked up from where he was on the pit floor. As he continued to look he saw movement at the top of the pit he almost groaned until he realized that, that might catch the other creatures attention. Continuing to watch the top of the pit, he saw as a rope ladder was lowered to the bottom of the pit.

I hope no one minds me popping in on this. It looked like so much fun! πŸ˜€

Who’s the writer you ask? Why you are! Just write the next 100 words to the story and post with the InLinkz script so that others can read from the beginning!!

Welcome to CWG! Nice add-on – for some reason I didn’t think of the two predators going for each other. Hopefully now our hapless hero can scoot up the rope ladder while they’re tearing chunks out of each other.

Thank you. I’m happy to be a part of it. And we’ll see. I had intended for another person to be up there, but didn’t have enough words to do it with. Oh well. But I thought we had to find some way to save our hero, he’s only just begun. And we have so much more punishment we can dish out. XD

I didn’t realize I could go again. But I think I’ll wait longer than 3 and see what happens to Jadir. I might have to rescue him again. πŸ˜€

Rules have changed. There’s no limit on the total episodes. But you still have to wait for three other posters before posting.

Welcome to the CWG! I was hoping someone would give him a way out. It makes sense that the beasties might start fighting. But now who’s at the top of this ladder? Great job on this one.

Welcome aboard. The more the merrier. Thanks for hopefully bringing another human into the story. Jadir definitely needs help.
